Gulliver’s World Theme Park, Warrington

Gulliver’s World in Warrington was the second Gulliver’s Theme to be built and opened in 1989. The park master plan was conceived prior to Duncan Phillips taking on the strategic design function of the company. The park therefore had to evolve out of a landscape based parkland setting. The park is around 40 acres in size and set out around a man made lake. Over the years the park has evolved to a master plan set out by Duncan to match the Gulliver’s brand of a family focused environment. The site continues to grow and is now one of the North West’s major visitor attractions.

Gulliver’s World is a prime example of how parks have evolved over the last 20 years and have had to keep improving and adapting the offer to maintain visitor volumes.
