Delta Valley Theme Park, Turkey

Delta Valley was a project that required help from project visioning through to master planning. The site was a 55 acre redevelopment of a former river valley where the theme park was to act as an anchor to redevelop the region.

The site was planned out using zones to give the park legibility, the layout concept was Hub and Spoke but with water being the defining edge treatment between zones. The concept was to allow the park to grow as funds permitted but when complete to have a clearly defined layout. The entrance area and two zones leading off it were developed with large catering operations which could operate independently to meet the local needs for large scale catering (weddings and parties).

At the Dreamland site in Margate there is a significant similarity where some areas of the site will have to be able to operate independent of the whole without impacting on the experience.
